what makes the world go round?

People say money makes the world go round... I beg to differ. To me, I think that status makes the world go round.

In school, leaders are selected from the student population, differenciating the different status and ranks of the students. Students are instilled that they would be considered 'better' if they are a leader. Besides this, students are also, sometimes unknowingly, being classified by the number of friends they have. The more friends you have, the more popular you are, the 'higher' your status.

In the workforce, isn't a promotion what some work for? Why do they work for promotions? Simple. For Status and power.

My question to all this fight for status and power is WHY?

Is power and status that important? Why is there a need for you to claim such status and power? Sometimes even to the extent of putting yourself in front of someone, who may mean something to you?

Through all these status and power seeking, some even forget their real purpose. Some because they are status and power hungry, and some because they become greedy and manipulative after they have the status and power.

Is status and power really that important in life? Isn't happiness and enjoying yourself and what you do more important?

Probably the way I think is still too naive... And you might not agree. I hope no one takes this post to heart or anything... Its justa random thought I had...

Netball Match today...

We won today's match :D but is was kida a bitter(?) match. Cause our captain(senior) injured herself really badly. :( As my previous post states, I'm not in the school team, so i was there just taking time and keeping score... i was keeping score for today's match. my senior took time.

We are so...pardon my language... fucking worried for our captain. :/ we do not know exactly how she is right now. she was sent from the competition ground to the hospital immediately via an ambulance. they had to give her a mask(?) to numb(?) the pain. She injured her shin part near her knee. :/ #PRAYINGFORHER

Then later, one of my teammates, vomited. cause one of the opponent accidentally punched her stomach. and she was trying to hold it in. but could not. :/ She says she is fine... but imma still worried. She is one of my quite close friend :/ Oh! And i had to clean up her vomit from the court so that they could continue playing... -.-ll FIRST TIME I EVER
CLEANED SOMEONE ELSE'S VOMIT! Heh :D New experience :D but okayy... seriously:( today was only our first match:(

I HOPE THE CAN CONTINUE WINNING AND DOING WELL AS A TEAM:) I WOULD BE SUPPORTING THEM ALWAYS :D AND GET WELL SOON TO MY CAPTAIN!!!!

OBS and stuffs that have been happening...

So I just came back from a 5 day 4 nights camp, OBS, Outward Bound Singapore... Right before the lunar new year I came back...

OBS was such an amazing time for me. The time I had with my watch mates, and how much I learnt from just these 5 days are simply incredible. (IMMA GONNA TALK ABOUT OBS ON ANOTHER ENTRY) HEH :D

But lots have happened since I last blogged... like duhh... I have not been blogging as I warned in my earlier posts, I may just stop blogging for a LONG period of time just plainly because I am LAZY :D HEH :D

Okayy... back to topic.... LOTS have happened... There was sad things like I was not selected to be in the school Netball Team (im still training with them... so its kida okay I guess...) But the thing is sometimes I feel so like distant and kida left out also... Because all my close pals and friends in the Netball team are in the School team and all... :/ Its kida hard to explain but yea :/ Not only that, but I feel extra there also... Cause I am not in school team but I am like training with them :/

Okayy.... enough of my ranting on this....

LUNAR NEW YEAR :D HAHAHA :D HAD SO MUCH FUN :D :D :D Went round visiting.... as usual... AND I JUST REALISED HOW MANY 'BABY' (Young.... like from baby to 8?) COUSINS I HAVE!!!!!! :D THEY ALL SO CUTEEEEE :D I watched lion dance again this year :D Then the little kids went to pull and play with the Tail... DAYUM CUTE :D HAHAHAHA :D

I have so much to say and rant... but IMMA TIRED :/ And tomorrow Imma gonna go down to support my School Netball team... (Netball School Team) In their zonals :D YIPEEEE!!! HOPE THEY WIN :D <3

I am probably typing incoherent sentences now:/ Cause Imma tired.... and I still have not finished my E-math homework :/ And my Chemistry homework :/ Bummer:/ OH WELL!!! IMMA GONNA SLEEP!!!!

I shall post about my experience at OBS tomorrow :D When I am less tired :) <3
